LIVING BETTER

Creating a culture that prioritises employee wellbeing

We constantly strive to prioritise workplace wellbeing, supporting our colleagues in a number of different ways so they can find the route that best fits for them.

We are proud to say we have 220 trained Mental Health Champions, supported by 89 Mental Health First Aiders, who provide an invaluable support network for colleagues available at every site across the business.

Feed Your Wellbeing padding

This team is supported by wellbeing courses available on The Core, our bespoke online training platform which can be accessed by all colleagues around the clock, seven days a week, and our colleague Feed your Wellbeing app which provides advice and tips on our four wellbeing pillars; mental health, physical health, financial and culture.

Colleagues can also access additional support, including counselling and crisis grants, through our ongoing partnerships with GroceryAid and the Butchers’ & Drovers’ Chartered Institute. We are proud to have been recognised by GroceryAid as Gold Award winners as a result of our ongoing commitment.

“Here at Cranswick we are working hard to ensure that all our colleagues, regardless of department, site or role, are supported with their own mental health.”

Elaine Moon, Group HR Project & Analyst Manager
