Costas Constantinou and his brother Louis are Cranswick’s undisputed Mediterranean food heroes. When they joined us in 2019, they brought with them years of expertise and a lifelong love of traditional Greek Mezze.
They continue to inspire us with their dedication to careful sourcing and a love of Mediterranean flavours.
The sourcing specialists
Costas and Louis use their specialist knowledge to source the very finest Mediterranean food for our UK customers, including pulses, nuts, halloumi, olives and antipasti.
We have put their knowledge to good use, creating dressings and marinades inspired by traditional Greek recipes. These recipes have been preserved in family cookbooks passed down through generations of the Constantinou family.
Louis and Costas’ expertise in sourcing ingredients has also taken us into fast-growing plant-based categories. We’ve had notable success here with the Cypressa brand, first established by the family business – Katsouris Brothers – which their uncles first established in 1964.
