Prestigious China Business Award for Cranswick

Cranswick has won a distinguished award at the annual Yorkshire and Humber China Business Awards.

The 2015 awards were held in Leeds on Tuesday (17th February) to celebrate the trade links between Yorkshire and China. The event is a central part of the Yorkshire and Humber Chinese New Year Business Dinner at Leeds' Civic Hall.

This year there were three categories at the China Business Awards – one to recognise long-term experience and commitment to China, an award for a business just starting out in China and the final one for an established business.

Cranswick won the New Business in China award. Receiving the award were Chris Aldersley, Managing Director, Fresh Pork and Ed Wright, Export Manager. Chris said: "We're really pleased to have won, it's recognition for all the work that goes on for the team that make it happen on a daily basis. This award is a big thank you to them."

The awards dinner, organised by the Business Confucius Institute at the University of Leeds, was supported by UK Trade and Investment, DLA Piper and the China-Britain Business Council.
