Cranswick Takes Hull City of Culture on the Road

As one of East Yorkshire’s largest employers, Cranswick plc announced it was strengthening its links to arts and culture in the city by signing up as a City Partner for Hull 2017 UK City of Culture. The Hull based food producer and supplier found its roots in Hull after starting its successful business there over 40 years ago. Today, Cranswick employs over 4,000 people who live in the city and to are keen to support this fantastic initiative.

As City Partner of Hull 2017 UK City of Culture, Cranswick has launched two trailers adorned with iconic Hull images and eye-catching messages. Cranswick are keen to continue their support for the city after it has proved enthusiastic sponsors of Hull’s much loved Freedom Festival. Adam Couch, Chief Executive of Cranswick plc, said: “We are delighted to be spreading the message of Hull 2017 UK City of Culture across the country and are excited to be involved here in Hull is a privilege. Our staff are really excited that UK City of Culture is coming to Hull and the opportunities that brings.”
