The team at Cranswick Continental Foods has been exploring innovative ways to reduce food waste at their site, giving new purpose to surplus stock. Collaborating with FareShare's Surplus with Purpose scheme, sharing continental meats and cheese with lunch clubs and soup kitchens is now possible.
With 8 product types already live and an additional 12 products due to go live imminently, the team anticipate this will nearly halve the amount of edible food waste at the site!
