Cranswick Attend Driffield Show

Our farms teams from Wold Farms and White Rose Farms had a great couple of days in the sunshine at the Driffield Show last week, meeting new faces and catching up with old ones, including some of the original farmers that established Cranswick in 1975.

We are so proud of the delicious food we produce at Cranswick and we could not do that without the British farmers who breed, rear and finish our pigs and chickens. We wanted to say thank you for all their hard work, so we invited farmers from Wold and White Rose to the stand to enjoy some delicious tasters produced by our chefs Simon Woods and Ben Croyden, showcasing some of the food we produce. We served Air Dried and Dry Cured Oak and Applewood Smoked Streaky Bacon on brioche buns, Breaded Chicken Pops, Posh Dogs, Slow Cooked Pulled Pork Tacos with a smoky BBQ sauce, Sticky Pork Ribs with a Korean Glaze and the Best Ever Sausage Rolls.

As the business continues to expand, we are always looking for good quality rearing and finishing accommodation for our pigs throughout Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and the Midlands, on both straw and slatted systems. If you know of anyone who may be interested in a new income stream for their farm, please send an email to farming@cranswick.co.uk
