It was a delight to welcome Company Shop to the Cranswick Convenience Foods site in Barnsley this week, as they created their very own pop-up shop!
Company Shop are a fantastic, award-winning social enterprise; they help people in some of the most deprived communities in the UK, through redistributing surplus products and ambient produce at a heavily reduced cost. To find out more about the remarkable work of Company Shop, take a look here.
The two-day event was well received by colleagues; there was a vast range of products available to purchase, including copious amounts of cleaning products, confectionary, tinned produce and soft drinks. As a business, we were really pleased that many colleagues attended, as there was plenty of stock for everyone!
A huge thank you to Raegan, Communications and Engagement Advisor, Emily, Sustainability Assistant, and Adam, Head of Sustainability Strategy and ESG, for helping to organise the event alongside the excellent team from Company Shop.
