In 2019 we identified an opportunity for residual sausage meat utilising FareShare’s ‘Surplus with Purpose’ funding supported by the Government, this enabled us to redistribute product that previously would not have been donated sending enough sausages to help create over 80,000 additional meals in just the first few months.
