Training & HR Coordinator
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Training & HR Coordinator to join the team at our Wembley site.
Job Purpose:
To drive the Human Resources Department forward by implementing continued ‘Best Practice’ approaches and methods to ensure HR plays a pivotal role in the Company and provides a high level of support across all functions.
Main Duties:
Training
- Conduct Induction training for weekly/ monthly and agency works
- Conduct ‘Core module’ in line with Cranswick PLCs requirement (eg Food Safety, Slips & Trips)
- Organising and delivering follow-up training / refresher training with key stakeholders
- Creation of individual training records until process moves online to ‘CORE’
- Updating maintaining the training matrix’s
- Managing access to the training records
- In an audit situation – manage the presentation of training
HR
- Producing Contracts and Offer letters for new starters – weekly paid
- Own the administration for weekly starters and leavers.
- Ensure right to work docs are checked prior to employment
- Ensure facial recognition is imputed for starters and leavers including agency staff
- Maintaining notice boards and updating policy folders
- Assist in readiness for site compliance audits
- Taking minutes in investigation, disciplinary and grievance meetings when required
- Add starters and leavers to CORE, People XD and HR tracker
- Maintain all data bases to capture changes to term and conditions i.e. salary increases, reduction of hours, maternity and paternity leave etc
- Complete reference requests
- Support in the absence of the HR Advisor where appropriate
- Maintenance of HR folders
- Conduct exit interviews for weekly paid staff
- Other ad hoc duties including running various reports
Requirements, Experience and Person Specification:
- Able to work to a high standard with excellent attention to detail – this is vital for the success of the role.
- IT literate, and able to work confidently with Microsoft Office (e-mail, Word, Excel, etc), and new IT systems.
- Able to work to deadlines within a fast-paced environment and with a varied workload.
- Experience as an HR Administrator would be advantageous but not essential.
- Experience in delivering training
- Experience working with the HR system People XD would be advantageous but not essential.
- Any second languages – particularly Hindi, Tamil, Gujarati – would be advantageous but not essential
Education/ Qualification:
General education / CIPD level 3 or 5 (desirable)
Additional Information:
Working Hours: 40 per week, Monday - Friday
