Skilled Hygiene Oper­a­tive (Days)

We are currently recruiting for a motivated and experienced Skilled Hygiene Operative to be part of our journey. The ideal candidates would be flexible, enthusiastic and have excellent attention to detail.

This role is to provide a hygiene resource to the factory so that acceptable conditions of cleanliness are maintained whilst working in a safe and time effective manner. Ensuring that all Hygiene Cleaning Systems and CICs are followed correctly and recorded on the Gateway system, ensure all tasks are in line with internal and external Customer and 3rd Party requirements.

Shift: 4 on 4 off A shift 6am till 6pm

Pay Rate: £13.40 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • To carry out general and specific hygiene duties in accordance with the methods and safe systems of work detailed on the factory / equipment cleaning instruction cards, at the specified frequency.
  • Clean to a standard that satisfies both internal and external specifications.
  • Complete all relevant paperwork appropriately and in a timely manner
  • To ensure that you only carry out duties, handle cleaning chemicals for which you have been trained and authorized.
  • Water & Chemical usage ensuring chemicals are accurately measured and water is used appropriately not for swilling meat around the floor.

Qualifications

  • Group and site induction
  • Level 2 H&S awareness
  • Food Safety L2
  • Chemical Training
  • C.O.S.H.H Training
  • Holchem Training Level 3
  • English GCSE A* to C or equivalent
  • Maths GCSE A* to C or equivalent
