Job requirements of Engineering Machine Setter:

We are recruiting for an Engineering Machine Setter to support our Engineering and Production departments with the smooth running of factory machinery.

Shift – Monday to Friday between the hours of 6:00am and 18:00pm (44 hours per week)

Day to day tasks will include:

  • Set up and operate production machinery.
  • Carry out routine machine checks and maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and report equipment issues.
  • Support production teams to achieve daily targets.
  • Complete paperwork and machine records accurately.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards.
  • Work collaboratively with engineering and production colleagues.

What you will need:

  • Mechanical Engineering or experience within machinery is required.
  • The ability to think fast and thrive under pressure
  • To be motivated and able to use your own initiative
  • Be flexible with daily working hours for handovers and occasional overtime
  • Be reliable, punctual and motivated to learn new skills.
  • Be able to work effectively as part of a team.

Pay and benefits:

Salary: £16.07 per hour (inclusive of a £1 per hour weekly attendance bonus)
