Relief Farm Manager

Job Purpose:
The main responsibility of the Relief Farm Manager is to cover Farm Staff absence as required including the wellbeing and performance of the livestock.
Regular travel and visits to farms allocated farms across the Norfolk/Suffolk/Essex Agriculture Division, within Broiler Department will be necessary.
Responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring all aspects of running the farms are met.
- Maintaining safe working practices.
- Ensuring welfare of livestock.
- Maintain optimum environmental conditions and ensure bird welfare and bio security practices are maintained.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Ensuring that high standards of animal welfare, hygiene and husbandry practice are maintained.
Requirements/Experience Required
- Experience of working on poultry units.
- Ability to carry out manual duties.
- NVQ level 3 in poultry production or similar.
- Valid UK driving license.
