Recruit­ment Offi­cer (1 year FTC)

About Cranswick Country Foods:

Cranswick Fresh Poultry is hiring at our state-of-the-art processing facility in Eye, Suffolk.

This is a fixed-term role for 1 year to cover maternity leave.

As a Recruitment Officer, you will contribute to the effective attraction, recruitment and selection of talented people for the future of the business.

Core Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 – 17:00.

Job requirements of Recruitment Officer:

• Advertising vacancies in creative ways on a variety of social media platforms to attract good response rates
• Shortlisting and contacting candidates, organising and co-attending interviews
• Ensuring effective assessment of candidates to select the right people for the right roles
• Organise and represent the company at external events
• Provide a great recruitment and selection experience for candidates
• Complete and or assist with administration work around the recruitment processes and employee lifecycle
• Aid recruitment and career progression by attracting and delivering ongoing or new Apprenticeships
• Collaborative work across Regional and Group to share best practice and or new initiatives
• Contribute to the development of our employer brand via a variety of activities including the growth of our social media presence and links with our local community

What you will need:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
• Confidence to work on your own initiative balanced with a teamwork approach
• Competent computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and excel, and confident with using various social media platforms
• Experience in office environment is desirable, as is recruitment experience – however not essential.
• Organised and methodical

Pay and benefits:

Salary – £30,000 -£35,000 DOE

Pension – 3% employer contributions / 5% employee contributions
