Recruit­ment Admin­is­tra­tor — Hessle

Location: Hessle, East Yorkshire
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

About the Role

We are looking to recruit a Recruitment Administrator to join our team at Cranswick Farming, reporting directly to the Recruitment Advisor.

You will support the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for candidates and hiring managers. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will coordinate recruitment activity across a busy in-house recruitment function within a leading UK farming and food production business.

This role is suited to an organised and proactive individual who enjoys working in a busy office environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality administrative and coordination support. You will ensure vacancies are progressed efficiently, candidates are kept informed, and recruitment activity is accurately recorded in line with internal processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the recruitment process from vacancy approval through to offer stage
  • Advertise vacancies across job boards and internal systems
  • Screen applications and support shortlisting
  • Arrange interviews and coordinate candidate communications
  • Act as the first point of contact for recruitment queries
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records on internal systems
  • Liaise with hiring managers and candidates to schedule interviews and feedback
  • Support delivery of a positive candidate experience
  • Ensure compliance with company recruitment processes
  • Work collaboratively within the HR and Recruitment team

About You

  • Experience in an administrative, HR, recruitment, or office-based role
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Able to build positive relationships with candidates and colleagues
  • Proactive, reliable, and able to meet deadlines
  • Strong team player with a professional approach
