Cranswick Country Foods Poultry is hiring at our brand new, purpose-built processing facility in Eye, Suffolk.

As part of our exciting expansion project we are now recruiting for full-time, permanent Quality Assurance Supervisor Working 6:10-17:10, 4 shifts per week on a 3 week rotating shift pattern
Job requirements of QA Supervisor:
- Support with the business requirements in the absence of the QA Manager.
- Managing the QT team to ensure that quality control and food safety checks are completed on time, with any issues escalated.
- Managing the QA team to complete audits, support the QT & operations teams and to control food safety, legal & quality defects through the non-conformance & hold system.
- Support Operations in good bird welfare, slaughter, butchery and packing practices.
- Complete the projects set by Senior management in a timely manner.
- Improve processes and practices, streamlining where necessary.
- Assist with customer site visits and third party audits.
- Ensure that all areas are appropriately staffed with the correct number of QA & QT operatives.
- Ensure that all statutory (industry guidelines), legal, food safety & customer requirements are met.
Desirable:
- Food safety level 3
- Internal auditing
- Management skills
- Knowledge of food industry
- Understand of CCP’s
