QA- Intake

Cranswick Country Foods Poultry is hiring at our brand new, purpose-built processing facility in Eye, Suffolk.

As part of our exciting expansion project we are now recruiting a QA position, working Monday – Friday 06:40-15:10

Job requirements of QA:

- Responsible for completion and documentation of intake checks on all deliveries of raw materials to Stores

-Liaising with Stores to ensure availability and presence on arrival of raw materials.

-Responsible for monitoring & reviewing staff behaviours, challenging unsafe behaviours / practices and correcting them.

-Responsible for carrying out all relevant intake checks, maintaining technical standards

-Raising any non-conformances found, escalating to Technical Management as required.

-Ensure closure of any Non-Conformances raised and proactive prevention of repetition.

-Managing Corrective actions – making sure corrective actions are completed within appropriate timescales

-Support the QA function on site

-Authority and responsibility to stop the line from running to prevent compromise of food safety, legality, quality or health & safety

What you will need:

- Be self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative

-Be able to work additional hours as overtime may be required

-Ideally have experience of working within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment

-Have a good level of both written and verbal English

-Level 2 Food Hygiene/Safety certification

Pay and benefits:

-Hourly Rate – £15.46 per hour including weekly attendance bonus

-Overtime – time and a third after basic hours

- Pension – 3% employer contributions/5% employee contributions
