Cranswick is a leading UK food producer with revenue of over £2.9 Billion. We produce and supply premium food to high profile UK grocery retailers, the food service sector and other UK and global customers.
We are currently recruiting for Production Operatives at our Preston site, our primary Pork facility within the Hull and East Riding region. With significant ongoing investment and expansion, this presents an opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, forward-thinking site with plenty of scope to contribute and develop. In this role, you would be working on a production line.
Main Duties Include (but not limited to):
- Under the guidance of the line leaders, ensure that each product specification is followed and any anomalies are reported immediately
- Ensure that lost production time is kept to a minimum by maintaining the speed of the line, and to minimise the waste of raw materials, packaging and consumables.
- Maintain food hygiene standards
- Ensure labels are correct and signed off when collecting from stores
What We Look For:
- Comfortable working in an ambient temperature, fast-paced environment to daily targets
- Strong levels of attention to detail
- Understanding of the importance of food safety and hygiene
- Suitable transport to get to HU12 8TB
