Pro­duc­tion Coordinator

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Production Coordinator to join the team at our Wembley site.

Job Summary

  • Responsible for coordinating production or supply planning activities while maintaining accurate stock levels to ensure operational efficiency. minimizing shortages, excess stock, and waste.
  • Makes sure that goods are ready to distribute to customers in a timely fashion.
  • To ensure that all operations activity is captured to provide complete and accurate data.
  • To work with other teams within the business to ensure that the data flow required is accurate and is completed in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

Planning

  • Data Input and Stock reconciliations
  • Ensure the necessary paperwork/records are received and maintained. All records should be maintained in a way that makes them easy to find and understand.
  • Develop and maintain production or supply plans based on forecasts, customer orders, and inventory levels.
  • Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
  • Monitor demand trends and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Schedule production runs or deliveries to meet deadlines.
  • Identify and resolve planning issues that may cause delays or stock imbalances.

Stock Control

  • Assist in monitoring and maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies at Water Road and 275 site.
  • Prepare stock reports for management review.
  • Implement and improve inventory control procedures.
  • Receipting all stock onto Nav
  • Support in sending out EDI orders and invoicing customers.
  • Book transport collection.

Coordination & Reporting

  • Work closely with sales and operations teams to align supply with demand.
  • Generate planning and inventory reports.
  • Use Nav and CMEX
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • KPI Reports / Monthly report

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Proven experience in planning and/or stock control.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and ERP software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/CMEX/ NAV
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Additional Information:

Working Hours: 40 per week, working days/hours to be defined.

Salary to be discussed at interview stage.
