Product Developer
Cranswick Gourmet Sausage Co. (Lazenby’s) is our fast-paced sausage facility located in Hull. Using only the best cuts of British pork, fresh herbs and spices, Cranswick are the UK’s leading producer of gourmet sausages and burgers, supplying major retailers and foodservice outlets alike.
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and passionate Product Developer to join our NPD Team. In this role, you will support the development and delivery of both NPD and EPD projects from concept through to launch. Working closely with site teams and customers, you will help ensure products are delivered successfully, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and deliver NPD and EPD projects from concept to launch
- Act as a link between sites, customers, and internal departments
- Ensure customer expectations and technical requirements are met
- Support successful product launches across the business
- Develop strong knowledge of food products and manufacturing processes
- Work collaboratively with site functions to achieve project goals

What we're looking for:
- Degree or equivalent in food related subject
- A strong understanding of the NPD & process built from 6 months to 1-2 years’ experience within a similar field
- Full valid driving license
- Passion for food and product development
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- A proactive and results-driven approach
