Poultry Pressure Washer
Job Summary
Crown Chicken Ltd are seeking a Poultry Pressure Washer to travel to our broiler farms and carry out thorough cleaning and disinfection of poultry equipment and trailers. The role involves the use of approved chemicals and pressure washing equipment to ensure strict biosecurity standards are consistently maintained, helping to prevent the spread of disease.
The successful candidate will play a key part in supporting bird welfare, ensuring all equipment is cleaned to a high standard and ready for safe reuse, while working efficiently and adhering to all operational and safety procedures.
Hours/Days: 45 Hours per week, Monday to Friday. Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays if required.
Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
- Carry out pressure washing of the exterior of trailers and Equipment to maintain cleanliness and compliance standards.
- Undertake all cleaning activities using approved chemical agents to ensure strict biosecurity measures are upheld.
- Travel to and operate across 70+ poultry farm locations as part of routine duties.
- Clean and disinfect poultry equipment to prevent contamination and support animal health and safety standards.
- Carry out any additional duties as required to support operational needs.
Requirements, Experience and Person Specification:
- Full UK Driving License.
- Experience in the sanitation of poultry sheds is beneficial, but not essential.
- Experience working on a farm is beneficial, but not essential.
- Be happy working outdoors in all weathers.
