Planning Manager

We are looking to recruit a Planning Manager, to join the planning team at Gourmet Kitchen. The ideal candidates will be reliable, show initiative and have accuracy with excellent attention to detail.
Main Duties
- Ensure transportation is booked to deliver products, collections from cold stores, etc
- Compiles data from sources, such as contracts, purchase orders, invoices, requisitions, and accounting report and writes, types, or enters information into computer to maintain inventory, purchasing, shipping and other records.
- To assist in setting and maintain new products on the NAV systems, other systems
- To assist in buying of raw materials, ingredients, and packaging
- Keeps back-order file in established sequence and releases back orders for issue or shipment as stock becomes available.
- Compiles stock control records and information, such as consumption rate, characteristics of items in storage, and current market conditions, to determine stock supply and need for replenishment.
- Required to liaise closely with production, customer services, purchasing and logistic departments. To ensure efficiency, productivity and minimum downtime.
- To produce daily, weekly, and monthly KPI’s
- To take an active role with the production planning.
- Liaise with Managers / Supervisors regarding any issues and report daily
- Any other responsibilities commensurate with the post. Any other reasonable requests made by the Directors
Requirements, Experience and Person Specification:
- Previous experience of FMCG manufacturing (preferably food related)
- At least 5 years of experience planning
- Proven track record of leading teams
