Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, with alternate weekend working

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Pig Stockperson at our farm in Driffield. Our farm is a state-of-the-art, 1,600-sow breeding unit that showcases our breeding performance to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in hands-on care for pigs in an indoor unit, ensuring their health and well-being standards are not just met, but exceeded
  • Complete daily tasks such as feeding, vaccinating, moving, and handling the livestock
  • Load and unload pigs as needed
  • Play a key role in maintaining the condition and appearance of our farm, creating a welcoming environment for both animals and visitors
  • Work as part of a team to achieve the unit's performance targets

About You

  • Experience with livestock or an agricultural background would be advantageous, but not essential (full training can be provided for the right candidate)
  • Ability to prioritise and complete tasks fully with strong attention to detail is a must
  • Self-motivated, possess a strong work ethic, and strive to go above and beyond expectations
