*Daily overtime required - finish time is until production has finished - around 1-2 additional hours per shift

Cranswick is a leading UK food producer with revenue of over £2.9 Billion. We produce and supply premium food to high profile UK grocery retailers, the food service sector and other UK and global customers.
As our site continues to expand, this role forms part of our new and exciting plate freezing facility, which enables us to maintain the quality and freshness of our products. We are currently looking for multiple Plate Freezer Operatives to ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day operations within the plate freezer, ensuring daily production targets are continually achieved.
Main Duties Include (but not limited to):
- Service the plate freezer with raw material requiring freezing, in line with the daily freeze plan
- Manually pack raw material into the cavities of the plate freezer, ensuring the appropriate outer packaging is applied to the frozen and palletised product
- To report any equipment defects immediately to the Line Leader
- Act responsibly regarding traceability throughout the plate freezing process to ensure to products integrity at all times
- Encourage maximum productivity and teamwork
- To be multiskilled as a Hygiene Operative as and when required
What We Look For:
- Experience in a similar role preferred - packing / production / factory / warehouse operative
- Previous experience of FMCG manufacturing (preferably food related)
- Comfortable working to targets in a fast-paced, cold environment
- Strong level of attention to detail
- Suitable transport to site - HU12 8TB
