Mul­ti Skilled Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated Engineer to join our team at Cranswick in Great Britain. Based in our manufacturing facility, the Engineer will play a vital role in maintaining and improving our production processes, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Working Hours: 2on 2off, 3on 2off, 2on 3off 6:00am – 6:00pm

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems within the production facility.
  • Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
  • Conduct welding and repair work as needed to ensure equipment functionality.
  • Implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
  • Supervise maintenance teams and coordinate repair schedules.
  • Collaborate with production staff to optimize operational performance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical systems.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on welding skills.
  • Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Knowledge of safety standards related to food production facilities.
  • Experience in maintenance within a food manufacturing setting is preferred.
