What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Day Shift Engineer, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and optimising our machinery to ensure smooth, uninterrupted production. Your duties will include:
• Maintenance & Repairs: Conducting scheduled maintenance and addressing breakdowns efficiently.
• Team Collaboration: Sharing expertise, supporting team members, and maintaining clear communication across shifts.
• Technical Support: Assisting with work instructions, workshop spares management, and maintenance records.
• Proactive Problem-Solving: Helping develop preventive maintenance plans and supporting a continuous improvement culture.
• Quality & Safety Compliance: Creating and reviewing method statements, risk assessments, and ensuring maintenance routines meet high standards.
What We’re Looking For:
We seek proactive engineers passionate about maintenance and continuous improvement. Here’s what will help you excel:
• Engineering Expertise: Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in FMCG or a fast-paced production environment.
• Technical Skills: A strong mix of mechanical and electrical engineering capabilities.
• Safety & Quality Focus: Knowledge of hazard identification, root cause analysis, and health & safety best practices.
• Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to conduct line safety inspections and follow site procedures diligently.
Shift Pattern:
05:30 – 17:30 | 2-2-3 Shift Pattern
