Marketing and Communication Executive, Hessle
Location: Hessle, East Yorkshire
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, with flexibility required for travel
About the Role
We’re seeking an enthusiastic and organised Marketing and Communications Executive to help deliver engaging marketing and communications activity across our Farming division. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for communication, strong attention to detail and a practical, hands-on approach.
Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager in our pig farming division, you will help shape how we deliver our internal and external communications, helping colleagues feel informed, connected, and engaged. You’ll also support with the planning and delivery of internal and external events, digital platform content and farmer engagement activity, working as part of our busy Farms team and in close collaboration with Group Marketing colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting in the creation and coordination of the internal communications plan across the Farms division
- Assist in collating and sharing key business updates with relevant stakeholders
- Creative copywriting for website, socials media and presentations
- Support the planning and delivery of internal and external events
- Support with filming and photography
- Advertising, PR, and content creation activity
- Delivery of ad-hoc marketing and communications projects as required
- Skills & Attributes
- Around 2 years’ experience in a marketing, communications, or events-related role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Well organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive, practical approach
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team environment
- Knowledge of agriculture or farming would be advantageous, but not essential.
