Load­ing Bay Operative

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our fast pace Loading Bay department.

Working Hours – 4:00pm – 00:15am

Shift – Monday to Friday

Job requirements of Loading Bay Operative:

  • Rotating and organizing stock within the chilled storage areas.
  • Loading and unloading of vehicles.
  • Correct receipting of goods.
  • Picking orders in correct date order to ensure stock rotation is correct
  • Keep up to date with changes to products and their packaging to enable efficient order picking
  • Carry out the day to day manual handling that is required

The ideal candidates will:

  • Be self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative
  • Be able to work additional hours as overtime may be required
  • Ideally have experience of working within Despatch/warehouse environment
  • Have a good level of both written and verbal English

Pay and benefits:

Rate of Pay - £15.50 per hour

  • Rate inclusive of £1 per hour weekly attendance bonus
  • Overtime – time and a third after contracted hours
