Label Room Team Leader

We are currently looking for a Label Room Team Leader to join our team on a full time basis working Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will ensure correct packaging is available and supplied to the production lines on time maximising line efficiency while ensuring traceability of all packaging components can be demonstrated through internal procedures.

Hours - Monday to Friday 06:30-15:00

Pay - £15.27 per hour

The main duties of the role include:

• Managing packaging in Label Room, including stock taking, ordering, issuing and checking upon reception
• Managing stock and issuing other items and consumables like pens, PPE, temperature strips etc.
• Working closely with Dry Goods and Lazenby’s staff
• Printing packaging labels following requests
• Reporting any system failures to the relevant department in a timely manner, so that corrective action
  can be taken promptly
• Ensuring that all daily checks / audits, including pre-start checks, are carried out
• Establishing and maintaining a positive work relationship with colleagues from other departments

Requirements, experience and person specification

• Experience in working within high risk food production environment (highly advantageous)
• Working knowledge about GMP in food manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of HACCP
