Cranswick Country Foods Poultry is a specialty producer of delicious, cooked poultry ingredients and leading innovators in our industry. We create exciting, original products that meet the needs of today’s busy consumers. We are now opening a brand new, purpose built, breaded chicken factory and want you to be part of the team!
We are looking for driven individuals to support the intake area and ensuring the effective running of the intake operation. Assisting and supervising the intake of products according to the sales order process schedule, working in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, food safety legislation, and quality standards specified by our customers.
Supervising the control of all intake goods stock, staff, materials, and equipment, including housekeeping within the area. Ensuring a safe, efficient, accurate storage and stock control operation is provided up to the point of the mixing department, ensuring that we have a full traceable process of product and paperwork.
The main duties would include:
- Provide guidance and leadership to the intake & processing team
- Ensuring that an efficient, accurate, storage and stock control operation is provided and managed daily basis, managing and investigating all stock variances.
- Ensuring compliance with all system based processes and procedures within the department
- Train and develop team to ensure continuity of standards, even in the candidate’s absence
- Work with other department managers to ensure smooth production and delivery of all produce to the finished customer
- Maintain the highest health and safety standards
- Ensure waste is kept to a minimum and second nature is the forefront of the operation
- Any other reasonable requests made by the Directors
The ideal successful candidate would be determined to create and maintain their own standards within the department of a brand new factory and be able to deliver results in a high pressure environment, whilst being able to be flexible and committed to ensure the successful launch of the factory. In return, the role will be rewarding and challenging, and expect to be developed within the role to succeed.
