Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 17:00pm – 02:10am
Job requirements of Retail Night Shift Hygiene Chargehand:
- Maintaining and improving hygiene standards where required
- Liaise with Night Shift Retail Manager, Supervisors, quality audit personnel, and rectify any hygiene issues
- Motivate and train staff in GMP standards required in Retail, chemical handling/health and safety
- Ensure all relevant paperwork is completed and correct
- Check the previous nights closing stock of consumables and create stock requisition, maintain stock levels
- The collection of any tools, consumables etc from the stores
- Organise the team and inform them of their individual tasks for the day including Basket Room
- Ensure all waste streams are adhered to and waste is weighed off correctly
- Check the stock requisition, maintain stock levels within the area.
What you will need:
- Be able to work under pressure in a fast pace environment
- Previous hygiene knowledge and experience working in manufacturing (ideally food)
- Great people management and communication skills
Pay and benefits:
Salary – £18.14 per hour (inclusive of attendance bonus)
Weekly attendance bonus of £1 per hour
Overtime – time and a third after basic hours
Pension – 3% employer contributions/5% employee contributions
