Hygiene Team Leader
Cranswick Gourmet Kitchen is supplying high quality cooked product to a number of market leading customers. The goal of our food manufacturing site, Cranswick Gourmet Kitchen, is to produce quality cooked food for market leading customers. We are currently looking for a Hygiene Team Leader to join our expanding team on a full time basis.
This role is responsible for supporting the hygiene team within your assigned area, ensuring that hygiene cleaning systems, CICs, and all relevant documentation are maintained effectively. This is essential to ensure that cleaning standards meet internal requirements as well as external customer and third-party expectations.
You will also support the Site Hygiene Supervisor / Hygiene Manager and take direct responsibility for the hygiene team within your area.
Hours : Monday to Friday 22:00-06:30
Pay: £16.76 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation and management of hygiene cleaning systems, CICs, and all relevant documentation to maintain required standards
- Ensure compliance with internal, customer, and third-party hygiene requirements
- Lead and oversee the hygiene team within your area of responsibility
- Ensure the hygiene team operates efficiently and effectively in completing daily tasks
Experience / Knowledge:
- Previous experience within the food industry (e.g. Hygiene Team Leader or similar role) is essential
- Experience working in a high-risk hygiene environment is advantageous
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to influence and motivate others, with a resilient approach
- Experience implementing and driving KPIs
- Good level of computer literacy
