Hygiene Operative (LS10)
Location: LS10, Leeds
Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
About the Role
We are looking for a Hygiene Operative to join our team at our LS10 site.
You will play a key role in ensuring the factory is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety and hygiene, supporting the site in delivering safe, high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities
Hygiene & Cleaning
- Carry out cleaning of machinery, equipment and factory areas in line with procedures
- Clean both internal and external areas of the site as required
- Ensure all areas are fully cleaned and ready for production
Health & Safety
- Follow all health & safety procedures and safe systems of work
- Use chemicals and equipment safely in line with instructions
- Report any hazards, faults or concerns to management
Standards & Compliance
- Ensure all tasks are completed and signed off correctly
- Work to strict food safety, hygiene and quality standards
- Support the site in achieving audit-ready standards at all times
Teamwork & Communication
- Work closely with Hygiene, Production, Technical and Engineering teams
- Attend training and continuously develop knowledge and skills
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in hygiene, cleaning or food production (desirable but not essential)
- Understanding of health & safety and food hygiene standards
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable with good timekeeping
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
