Hygiene Oper­a­tive

We are currently recruiting Hygiene Operative to work on a 3 days on, 1 day off, 3 days on, 7 days off shift pattern within the factory.

Pay: £13.62 per hour

JOB PURPOSE:

To work as part of the Hygiene team to help achieve the daily Hygiene plan whilst adhering to procedures, rules and processes set out by Hygiene management and other key functions.

To work in a safe and time effective manner in accordance with health and safety standards and ensuring food safety, hygiene and quality standards are achieved at all times.

KEY ACTIVITIES:

To carry out any safety instruction that has been given or present on a machine or chemical.

  • To work in a safe manner that does not put themselves or any other employee at risk.
  • To clean the equipment, present within the site as instructed and as per the required cleaning procedures.
  • To clean the fabrication of the building (both internal and external) as required and instructed.
  • To ensure that all areas after cleaning are fit for production to start back up again and that all machinery has been assembled correctly after cleaning.
  • To report any issues that may be present with any machinery that are found during cleaning to the Hygiene Team Leader.
  • To ensure that all tasks that have been completed are signed off accordingly on the appropriate records to provide evidence that cleaning has taken place.
  • To attend any training sessions that are provided by the company.

Requirements, Experience and Person Specification:

Hours of work- Shift patterns continental shifts 3 days on, 1 day off, 3 days on, 7 days off’ from 7am-7pm but flexibility around the agreed core hours is essential in this role.
