Hygiene Area leader

Main purpose of the role is to ensure hygiene is maintained to a high standard for the site, whilst working within all quality, legal and safety standards.

The key elements of the role are:

  • To coordinate hygiene team leaders across all areas.
  • Ensure that manning levels are effectively maintained against the agreed hygiene structure.
  • Conduct ATP swabbing against the daily plan.
  • Take immediate action against any out of spec micro fails.
  • Effectively manage the hygiene documentation using gateway to ensure that all cleans are fully documented with photographic evidence, where cleans are not completed ensure escalation procedure is followed.
  • Ensure all periodic cleaning is carried out as per schedule and documented correctly., where cleans are not completed ensure escalation procedure is followed
  • Carry out thorough inspections on cleaned equipment and areas.
  • Ensure iAuditor daily inspections are carried out as per agreed with manager
  • Train all staff commensurate to the task / job they are doing and monitor their performance
  • Drive training through the Cranswick core
  • Audit cleaning methodology in line with cleaning instruction cards and ensure best practice is maintained
  • Motivate your team through effective communication, support, and reward high performance
  • Any other responsibilities commensurate with the post. Any other reasonable requests made by the Directors

Shift is: Monday to Friday
