HR/PEOPLE ADMIN­IS­TRA­TOR

Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm (we’re open to discussing flexibility around core working hours)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a People Administrator to join our evolving People Team as we strive to create innovative, people-focused HR solutions.

The People Administrator will play a fundamental role in administering and supporting our processes, acting as the first point of contact and ensuring a positive and supportive environment for all our colleagues.

What you’ll be doing

Reporting to the People Partner, you will:

  • Support end-to-end recruitment activities, including advertising vacancies, coordinating interviews and preparing offer documentation.
  • Coordinating onboarding and offboarding processes ensuring a smooth and compliant colleague journey.
  • Maintain accurate employee records across People systems ensuring GDPR compliance.
  • Preparing, issuing and tracking People documentation including offer letters, contracts and contract amendments.
  • Liaise with payroll, providing accurate information relating to starters, leavers and contractual changes.
  • Support the administration of holidays, absence management and other employee records.
  • Act as the first point of contact for day-to-day People queries, providing guidance or escalating as appropriate.
  • Support the administration of employee benefits, pensions and holiday entitlements.
  • Assist with employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives to promote a positive workplace culture.
  • Identifying process gaps and supporting continuous improvement across People operations.

What we need from you

Essential

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within HR, or a genuine interest in developing a career in Human Resources.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships.
  • Professional and trustworthy approach to handling confidential information.
  • Proactive, adaptable and eager to learn and develop.

Desirable

  • Experience working within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
  • Familiarity with HR systems and databases.
  • CIPD Level 3 qualification, or willingness to study towards this with company support.
