HR Manager, Cranswick Farming

About the role

Cranswick Farming is seeking an experienced and forward‑thinking HR Manager to play a key role in shaping our people agenda. You’ll provide both strategic and hands‑on HR leadership, supporting engagement, performance, and talent development across the Norfolk based Cranswick Farming operation. This is a highly visible role offering real influence, impact, and opportunity to grow within Cranswick.

What you’ll do

  • Lead the delivery of a professional, compliant HR service that supports performance and aligns with wider Group people priorities.
  • Provide trusted advice on employee relations, attendance management, resourcing, engagement, and capability building.
  • Use people data, KPIs, and feedback to inform decision‑making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead and develop the Cranswick Farming Norfolk HR team, championing a high‑performance, inclusive culture.
  • Build strong relationships with our farm management team including travel to our Norfolk based sites as and when required.

What we’re looking for

  • CIPD or proven HR experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably within food production or manufacturing.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in supporting managers in areas like employee relations, performance, and engagement.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to establish trust across all levels of the business.
  • Solid knowledge of employment law, recruitment, and ER, with the ability to handle complex HR issues.
  • A proactive, solution-focused approach to driving HR improvements and supporting business success.
  • A strong team player who works collaboratively across the business, builds positive and respectful relationships, and contributes to a high‑trust, high‑standards culture where people support one another and pull in the same direction.
