About the role
Cranswick Farming is seeking an experienced and forward‑thinking HR Manager to play a key role in shaping our people agenda. You’ll provide both strategic and hands‑on HR leadership, supporting engagement, performance, and talent development across the Norfolk based Cranswick Farming operation. This is a highly visible role offering real influence, impact, and opportunity to grow within Cranswick.
What you’ll do
- Lead the delivery of a professional, compliant HR service that supports performance and aligns with wider Group people priorities.
- Provide trusted advice on employee relations, attendance management, resourcing, engagement, and capability building.
- Use people data, KPIs, and feedback to inform decision‑making and drive continuous improvement.
- Lead and develop the Cranswick Farming Norfolk HR team, championing a high‑performance, inclusive culture.
- Build strong relationships with our farm management team including travel to our Norfolk based sites as and when required.
What we’re looking for
- CIPD or proven HR experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably within food production or manufacturing.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience in supporting managers in areas like employee relations, performance, and engagement.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to establish trust across all levels of the business.
- Solid knowledge of employment law, recruitment, and ER, with the ability to handle complex HR issues.
- A proactive, solution-focused approach to driving HR improvements and supporting business success.
- A strong team player who works collaboratively across the business, builds positive and respectful relationships, and contributes to a high‑trust, high‑standards culture where people support one another and pull in the same direction.
