Location: Watton, Norfolk
Contract Type: Full-Time, 12 months fixed term
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven Human Resources Assistant to play a key role in supporting the Cranswick Farming Norfolk based HR team and ensure the smooth running of HR Processes including recruitment and training.
What you’ll do
- Employee Lifecycle Management: Handling administration for all stages of the employee lifecycle, from starters to leavers
- Payroll Support: Managing the time and attendance system and handling payroll queries
- Onboarding & Offboarding: Managing the starter and leaver processes, including issuing contracts, processing documents, updating HR systems and coordinating inductions
- Employee Engagement: Contributing to HR initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement and communication
- Team Support: Assisting the HR Manager with day-to-day HR duties and processes whilst also supporting the recruitment team
What you will need
- Organisational Skills: Enjoy creating and maintaining organised systems to manage a variety of HR administrative duties
- Team Player: A collaborative mindset to support HR team members in providing efficient and proactive HR services
- Attention to Detail: Strong computer skills and the ability to work with accuracy while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
- HR/Recruitment Experience (Desirable): Previous experience in HR or recruitment is an advantage but not essential
