At Cranswick Gourmet Bacon, we are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic HR Administrator to join our friendly HR team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting employees throughout their journey with the business while gaining valuable exposure across a wide range of HR activities.
As a HR Administrator, you will provide essential administrative support across the employee lifecycle, helping to ensure a positive employee experience while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality in everything you do.
What You'll Be Doing
Working closely with the HR team, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing administrative support across all HR functions
- Managing and maintaining employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Preparing HR documentation, letters, contracts, and reports
- Supporting recruitment and onboarding activities
- Assisting with employee engagement initiatives and company events
- Updating and maintaining HR systems and databases
- Supporting absence management and other employee-related processes
- Responding to employee queries in a professional and timely manner
- Ensuring confidential information is handled appropriately at all times
- Supporting HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience in an administrative role
- HR administration experience (desirable but not essential)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
- A keen eye for detail and high levels of accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to build positive relationships with colleagues at all levels
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- The ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
