Group Supply Chain Assurance Administrator

(Monday-Friday - 8am-5pm) – Hull, HU1 2ET

We are strengthening our Group Supply Chain Assurance team with the addition of a Raw Material Administrator. This role supports the approval and compliance of raw materials across the business, ensuring they meet Cranswick’s high standards.Working with suppliers, purchasing and technical teams, you’ll help maintain systems, support supplier approvals and ensure materials consistently meet agreed specifications.

What You’ll Do

  • Maintain and update systems holding supplier approval information (Quor, SharePoint, Technical Data and internal databases)
  • Support the approval and ongoing review of raw material suppliers in line with procedures
  • Ensure raw material specifications are accurately documented, approved and accessible to sites
  • Liaise with suppliers, purchasing and technical teams to ensure materials meet agreed specifications
  • Support compliance with hygiene, manufacturing practices and retailer requirements
  • Prepare reports and provide insights from a range of data sources
  • Help coordinate information across multiple sites, ensuring consistency and accuracy

What we’re looking for

  • Minimum of 3 A‑levels, including English and Maths, or a relevant Food Science qualification
  • Experience within the food industry or with raw materials is advantageous
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and cloud‑based systems
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, suppliers and stakeholders
  • Highly organised, with good time‑management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • A proactive, can‑do attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team
  • Ideally holds a full UK driving licence and has access to a vehicle
