GMP Fab­ri­ca­tor Supervisor

Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday

An exciting opportunity has arisen for GMP Fabricator Supervisor to join our newly developed on-site GMP team. This role has been created to bring key fabrication and repair works in-house, improving cost efficiency, responsiveness and GMP compliance across site.

Reporting to the Hygiene Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering GMP-related fabrication and maintenance activities, while managing a small team and working closely with Planning, Technical, and Production teams.

What you’ll be doing

As a GMP Fabricator Supervisor you will play a fundamental role in supporting the Hygiene team. You will:

- Plan, coordinate and schedule GMP fabrication and repair works across site

- Liaise closely with Planning, Technical and Operations teams to align works with production requirements

- Own and manage fabrication planning tools and systems

- Order materials and ensure appropriate stock control

- Supervise, manage and develop a small on-site GMP fabrication team

- Carry out and oversee flooring repairs and building fabric maintenance

- Manage GMP-related projects from planning through to completion

- Work to agreed budgets and support cost control initiatives

- Apply knowledge of hygienic design, suitable materials and substances used on site

- Support and contribute to SICs

- Attend daily production meetings as required

- Ensure all works meet GMP, food safety, health & safety and hygiene standards

What we need from you

Essential

- Level 4 Food Safety qualification (or working towards)

- IOSH qualification

- Level 4 Hygienic Design qualification

- Strong understanding of GMP, hygienic design and food manufacturing environments

- Knowledge of appropriate materials and substances used in food production sites

- Competent IT skills (planning tools, software and systems)

- Full UK driving licence

- Proven experience in fabrication, building maintenance or similar environment

Desirable

- NEBOSH qualification

- Experience managing projects and small teams

- Background in joinery, fabrication or building services within FMCG or food manufacturing
