GMP Fabricator
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday
Working Hours: 07:00 -15:00
Flexibility around weekends and nights will be required
An exciting opportunity has arisen for GMP Fabricator/Technician to join a newly formed on-site GMP team. Reporting to the GMP Fabricator Supervisor, you will support day-to-day fabrication, repair and improvement works across the site, ensuring all activities meet GMP, hygiene and food safety standards.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with experience in fabrication, flooring repairs, joinery or general building maintenance within a food manufacturing or hygiene-controlled environment.

What you’ll be doing
As a GMP Fabricator/Technician you will play a fundamental role in supporting the Hygiene team. You will:
- Carry out GMP-compliant fabrication and repair works across site
- Complete flooring repairs and support minor building fabric works
- Use approved materials and substances suitable for food production environments
- Support planned works and projects as scheduled by the Works Planner
- Ensure all work areas are left clean, safe and GMP-compliant
- Follow hygiene, food safety and health & safety procedures at all times
- Support continuous improvement and site hygiene initiatives

What we need from you
Essential
- Experience in fabrication, maintenance, flooring or building works
- Understanding of GMP and hygiene-controlled environments
- Good attention to detail
- Basic IT skills for job tracking and communication
Desirable
- Food Safety qualification
- Experience working within FMCG or food manufacturing
- Joinery or fabrication qualifications
