Food Pro­duc­tion Oper­a­tive (Ls25)

Cranswick Gourmet Bacon currently recruiting for numerous Production Operatives to work on a 3 on 1 off, 3 on 7 off shift pattern within the factory. Experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided, we welcome all CV’s/ applications. Immediate starts available

Shift patterns include (days)- continental shifts (3 on 1 off, 3 on 7 off) from 7am-7pm

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Rates of pay: £12.86 per hour

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the Slicing team to achieve daily production targets.
  • Ensure product specifications are followed and report any issues promptly.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, quality, hygiene and health & safety.
  • Help achieve production targets while reducing waste and improving yield.
  • Keep the working area clean, tidy and safe.
  • Ensure the correct PPE is worn at all times.
  • Report equipment defects and any other concerns to the Area Supervisor/Team Leader.
  • Complete relevant training and refresher training when required.
  • Support internal and external audits where necessary.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures and site rules.

Food production experience would be advantageous however full training will be given.
