Finance Assis­tant — Hessle

Location: Hessle, East Yorkshire

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

About the Role

We are looking for a Finance Coordinator to join our Farming Division based in Hull. This is a varied role supporting financial processes, administration, and contract-related activities across our farm operations.

You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial data, supporting internal stakeholders, and helping to maintain efficient processes within a fast-paced, operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting financial processes relating to farm contracts
  • Liaising with farm managers and internal teams
  • Supporting reporting and data analysis where required
  • Providing payroll support
  • Purchase invoice processing / coding / administration
  • Weekly payment runs and bank account reconciliation
  • Supplier master data maintenance
  • Monthly supplier statement reconciliations
  • Primary point of contact for customer and supplier communications

About You

  • Previous experience in a finance, accounts, or administrative role
  • Good understanding of financial processes (desirable)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident using Microsoft Excel
  • Well organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
