Factory Trainer
About the Role
Froch Foods is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Learning & Development Trainer to join our team.
Working closely with the Learning & Development Lead, you will play an important role in supporting the training and development of colleagues across the factory and helping to build a positive culture of continuous learning.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has excellent communication skills and is passionate about helping others develop their skills and knowledge.
Hours of work
Monday -Friday 7am- 4.30pm (however flexibility is necessary as there is a small late shift that will also require support as and when required).
Pay rate: £15.50 per hour
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Work Location: In person
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and support training across factory operations.
- Provide on-the-job training and coaching to colleagues.
- Support new starter inductions and ongoing development.
- Deliver training in areas including Health & Safety, Food Safety, Quality and operational procedures.
- Maintain and update the site's training matrix and training records.
- Ensure colleagues complete the required training within the appropriate timescales.
- Keep accurate training documentation and records to support compliance and traceability.
- Work closely with Production, Technical, Engineering, Hygiene, NPD and Health & Safety teams.
- Support the Learning & Development Lead with training plans and initiatives.
- Promote a positive learning culture across the site.
- Ensure training is delivered in line with company procedures, legal requirements and customer standards.
What We're Looking For

- Comfortable delivering training and presentations.
- Able to coach, motivate and provide constructive feedback.
- Organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Reliable with good timekeeping.
- Comfortable using basic IT systems.
- A positive team player with a proactive approach.
- Experienced in a food manufacturing environment or familiar with factory processes.
- Knowledgeable about hygiene, quality, food safety and health & safety requirements.
Essential Requirements
- GCSE standard education or equivalent, or at least 1 years' experience in a similar role.
- Understanding of Health & Safety and safe working practices.
