About the Role
We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity to join the Cranswick Plc as Factory Standards Support Manager. This role is critical in supporting our site technical teams, providing expertise, support and coaching on hygiene, quality and GMP standards.
The Factory Standards Support Manager will report to the Technical Support Manager and involve working alongside site teams to support elevating factory standards and product quality. The role will require you to work with all levels at sites to highlight areas of improvement, along with coaching and developing colleagues’ knowledge. Key focus areas will include hygiene, GMP standards and quality, including being a customer quality champion.
*Please note: This role will involve extensive travel, including overnight stays away from home occasionally at short notice. Hours will vary and will on occasion to include early starts to cover hygiene audits*

What You’ll Do
- Conduct “follow your nose” style factory audits, identifying areas for improvement and coaching teams in real time
- Assess product quality in store, depot and on site as the designated customer quality champion
- Carry out hygiene inspections and quality audits to ensure compliance with standards
- Share learnings and best practice across sites to drive consistency and uplift
- Support sites with operational or resource challenges (including extended support at individual locations where required)
- Assist with customer visits and audits as directed by the Technical Support Manager
- Support the rollout and embedding of the Quality Excellence Programme
- Work flexibly, including early starts and occasional overnight stays, to support key hygiene and audit activities
What You’ll Bring
- A strong technical background in the food industry, ideally with 3+ years’ experience in food manufacturing
- Experience in compliance, technical, auditing or quality control (advantageous)
- A continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to coach, motivate and influence
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to work confidently at all levels
- Proactive, organised and commercially aware, with strong problem-solving capabilities
