Job requirements of Effluent Treatment Plant Operator (Nights):
We are looking for an Effluent Treatment Plant Operator (Nights) to support with the running of the effluent treatment plant, optimize plant performance and maintain compliance.
Hours: 4on4off, 17:30 – 05:30
Duties
- Safely carry out all tasks set by the engineering management
- Ensure PPM’s , maintenance, breakdowns and all work is carried out in a timely safe manner
- Make sure all relevant tests on the water system are completed accurately and on time
- Make sure all PPM’s relating to the odour abatement system are undertaken and documented
- Daily and weekly effluent sampling and tests in accordance with ENV.810
- Oversee/undertake any testing required for R and D purposes and report back results/findings
- Monitor all tank levels, flow rates and trends and report and concerns to the engineering management
- Maintain good manufacturing practice, investigate and record hazards, risks and near misses
What you will need:
- Knowledge and experience of an effluent/water treatment plant is desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be able to work on your own initiative, as well as in a team.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
