Shift Pattern: 3 on 1 off 3 on 7 off
Job Description
Cranswick Gourmet Bacon are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our busy and fast-paced food manufacturing site. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring goods are received, stored and dispatched safely and efficiently to support production and customer orders.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and check deliveries against documentation, reporting any discrepancies or damages
- Store goods safely in the correct warehouse locations while maintaining stock rotation
- Prepare and dispatch goods to meet internal and external orders
- Ensure all food safety, quality and health & safety standards are followed at all times
- Complete relevant warehouse documentation and traceability records
- Carry out daily FLT checks where required
- Work closely with Team Leaders, Warehouse Supervisors and other departments to ensure smooth operations

- Reliable with good timekeeping and attendance
- Strong team player with good communication skills
- Good awareness of health & safety and food hygiene practices
- Organised with attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and develop within a warehouse environment
