Location: Cranswick Gourmet Bacon, LS25
Shift Pattern: Continental Shifts (4 on, 4 off) | 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
Contract Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Pay Rate: £18.08 per hour
About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has become available at Cranswick Gourmet Bacon for a skilled and motivated Dispatch Team Leader. You’ll be responsible for overseeing the dispatch team to ensure orders are picked and delivered accurately, safely, and on time—playing a key role in the smooth operation of our supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure dispatch schedules and KPIs are met efficiently and accurately
- Supervise the picking and collation of orders for outbound delivery
- Maintain accurate documentation and stock records
- Promote excellent customer service and team performance
- Train and supervise staff in SOPs, safety procedures, and inductions
- Work closely with stock control for regular stock takes and variance checks
- Manage dispatch equipment (e.g., HSF dolavs), ASN, and SSCC label processes
- Complete and report daily scorecard metrics
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a dispatch or warehouse leadership role
- Valid Reach Truck and Counterbalance licences (essential)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Reliable, proactive, and a team leader by example
- Able to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
