We are currently recruiting Despatch Operatives - focussing on loading/unloading, order picking, and line work, taking direction from the Despatch Chargehands - at our Preston site, our primary Pork facility within the Hull and East Riding region. With significant ongoing investment and expansion, this presents an opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, forward-thinking site with plenty of scope to contribute and develop.

Main Duties Include (but not limited to):

  • Loading/unloading
  • Picking orders on our in house systems
  • Ensuring all Despatch requirements set by the Chargehands and Supervisors are met in a timely manor
  • Ensuring products are stored correctly while maintaining traceability at all times
  • Maintaining food safety standards at all times
  • Reporting any issues or shortfalls when required
  • Demonstrate a good attention to detail with orders

What We Look For:

  • Previous experience in despatch / warehousing / food industry
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments to daily targets
  • A motivated and friendly attitude towards teamwork and assisting colleagues
  • Suitable transport to get to site - HU12 8TB
