Busi­ness Sys­tems Manager

Main purpose of the role: To ensure integrity and accuracy of data within the key site systems, mainly CMEX and NAV, including change management of master data. To drive compliance with agreed upon SOPs and promote a positive culture towards system usage and accuracy. This role will oversee Cranswick Poultry and Prepared Poultry site.

The key elements of the role are:

  • Designing, maintaining and improving current systems and processes on site, as well as assisting and leading the introduction of new technologies to the business
  • Be the lead on the implementation of improvements which drive efficient use of the system or improved accuracy and/or clarity of data
  • Maintenance of master data within CMEX and NAV
  • Be responsible for the site training on CMEX and NAV to ensure users have the necessary skills to effectively use the systems.
  • Work with the Operations Analyst to ensure the integrity and accuracy of the data used in the site Power Bi Dashboards
  • Manage workstreams of CMEX team, and system experts in production area to develop, maintain, improve and optimize the business systems, as well as providing key insights to improve site financial performance
  • Assist in the implementation and delivery of key technology projects and process improvements.
  • Deliver robust procedures for stock counting on CMEX and reporting of stock count accuracy and discrepancies
  • Provide CMEX day to day and project support.
  • Provide regular checkups in production (equipment, system issues, suggestions).
  • Assessment/validation of data from factory to drive actions for operations (exclusion rates, stock take errors, line control data capture).
  • Work with various departments to enhance and further develop their use of technology.
  • Undertake project-related tasks as needed to ensure timely execution and completion.
  • Identify and resolve issues that may impact the smooth rollout of projects.
  • Support system upgrades and ongoing process optimizations, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.
